Visa
Japan has Visa Exemption Arrangements with 62 countries and regions as of April, 2006.

Currency Exchange
You can check today's currency cross rates at

Foreign currencies and traveler's checks can not be used and exchanged at most stores.
They must be exchanged for Japanese yen at airports, post offices and banks.
At Post Offices, you can also withdraw cash with your credit card or ATM card. The cards which can be used at post offices are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, JCB, Eurocard, Maestro, Plus, and Cirrus cards. The nearest Post Office to the Symposium place is Yokohama-Minato Post Office. ATM service at Yokohama-Minato Post office is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
About YOKOHAMA
Yokohama lies 30km south of Tokyo. About KAMAKURA
Kamakura was once the political and cultural capital of the Shogunate, from 1192 to 1333. It boasts a heritage comparable with that of Kyoto and Nara. You can experience the charm of many ancient temples and shrines, including the famous Great Buddha statue. It can be reached by train in 30min. from Yokohama.
